Be wary of the 'special offers', 2for1 pricing isn't always what it seems. Check the individual price of a product, it may be cheaper to buy two separate products (eg individual price is .95p, 2for1 price is £2). You have been warned.
Would have got 5 stars but for one minor detail. Are you aware that 'all supermarket bargains' are off set against price increases on other products. Also always check the 2for1 offers, because sometimes the individual price is less than the offer price (eg individual price is 95p but the 2for1 offer is £2). You have been warned!!!
Reason I know this ... used to work for a major supermarket retailer.
Been a loyal TalkTalk customer for a number of years now but their after sales/customer service departments are somewhat lacking in problem solving. New customers get better deals than existing customers on their website, so existing customers then have to deal with TalkTalk operators usually outside of the UK (Canada, India, Philippines etc) which can create language difficulties at times. Still awaiting my upgrade to Broadband/Phone package since March 2012 ... taking longer than expected according to them.
In today's financial recession, budget airlines like Ryanair need to be very competitive. However, there is a downside to cheap travel ... the additional surcharges. Priority booking (£10); Web check-in (£6 each way); Baggage charges (15kg @ £50; 20kg @ £70); Reserved Seating fee; Extra Leg Room fee; ETS Levy fee; Taxes (if applicable); Travel Insurance (if required); plus other additional charges relating to 'sports equipment' (if applicable) ... all these 'extras' soon add up, so be warned.
Why don't these budget airlines recognize that people travelling abroad for whatever reason, require at least one piece of 'hold luggage' to be transported 'free of charge'. This would then possibly negate the need for 'oversized' pieces of hand-luggage which passengers insist on taking to avoid the baggage charges. Come on Ryanair ... lead the way by adopting a new 'luggage policy' ... just think of all the 'good publicity' it would bring.
Although I don't use this website often, when I do I have found it an excellent 'tool' in gaining purchases at reasonable prices. Bidding for items is quite exciting at times but remember, always set yourself a maximum bid offer, never go beyond that price. Otherwise you may pay 'over the odds'. Nonetheless, it's a great experience.
User friendly website. Competitive prices compared to other related retailers. Fast efficient service, all products arrive within their allotted timescale. Product info & reviews are extremely helpful when deciding on an individual purchase. Keep up the excellent work Amazon.
First rate & very prompt service. All my purchases to date have arrived safely, serviceable & in a timely manner. I couldn't ask for more. Prices are competitive with other related retailers & I highly recommend this company to all trade & DIY'ers.
This website offers excellent advice on a variety of consumer related topics which I have personally found invaluable when making certain decisions. I've saved quite a few pounds on a number of purchases & the 'special offers' that are advertised are well worth a try.
A special thank you to Martin Lewis for a fantastic website.
