Lakeland furniture was recommended to me by a professional contact - who builds stands for trade shows so knows what she is talking about! - as an excellent supplier of good value chairs.

I had seen the white Eames DSW dining chair in Heal's and liked it very much, but at a cool £320 per chair I wasn't about to fork out £1920 for six of them!

I ordered one chair from Lakeland for £40 as a 'tester' to see if the repro matched the original and was very impressed. You really can't tell them apart for styling or comfort. The chair arrived two days after my order.

I subsequently ordered another five chairs. I placed my order in the morning and the chairs arrived the next day! I have now assembled them all (very easy to do) and they look great around my glass dining table.

I have also seen a repro Eames DSW on sale in a shop in Brighton for £90, which further underlines the good value offered by Lakeland.

Bottom line: Heal's = £1920, Lakeland = £240. Great product, superb service, would recommend to anyone.
