If I hadn't cancelled my order it may have taken longer. The website showed 11 items in stock and estimated shipment of 2-4 days. After a week my order status remained 'new' so I emailed them. The response was polite but said that this was a "highly sought-after item" and that "we anticipate delivery in the coming few days."
Another week passed and still my order status hadn't changed from 'New'. Another email and a another similar reply.
Eventually I asked KwikChex to arbitrate. The final response from SE was that my shipment would be 'LIKELY' to happen in the "next few days" - this was now getting on to 3 weeks since my original order.
I cancelled my order via KwikChex and had my credit card refunded - yes, SE had debited my card almost on the day of my order.
If there's a problem with supply, logistics, staffing - a delay... just let me know. Don't keep me hanging on with a string of "it will be shipped in the next few days"
Getting started was easy and the few questions I did have were answered quickly and professionally. I spent some time shopping around before deciding to go with Recruit So Simple but it was the unbeatable value for money that was the decider. You sometimes worry that there must be a catch but I'm glad to say that the product and level of service more than met my expectations.
