Dreams

Never received my order and waiting for refund!

Want to put no stars!!!! Ordered 2 occasional mattresses and one double metal bed from Dreams. (£447.00) We had to make order over phone as we have a French address and cannot process an order on line. After contacting the company twice, Adam Jones (Telesales Consultant, Dreams Central Sales)
sent me his email and private contact no (which in fact is the same as the company no??) and after calling 3 times and not being in the office, the other man apparently could not help me, I eventually got through to him. I was a bit worried that I could not make the order and was running out of time, this made me a bit nervous, but when I spoke to him, he was very confident that the order would certainly be in time and it was easy for that week to get the delivery any day we liked. He made the order and promised the delivery would be 17th Sepmtember (3 weeks time) as we were only in our uk address from 15th to 21st September and we would not be able to receive the order on any other date. He promised me 100% that the items would arrive that date, as otherwise I could not place the order with Dreams. We are renting our cottage out as a holiday let and we needed to furnish the whole place and of course, the beds are essential!
17th came, no word or message had been sent to tell us otherwise, so we waited in ALL DAY! Which would have been OK if the order arrived, but it did not. I tried to call the number Adam gave me from my French mobile and it would not connect. The 18th came and no delivery, so in the evening we called the main number form our French mobile (expensive!) and spoke to a moron or kept saying, we will deliver it in 2 weeks!!!?? Apparently the bed was out of stock and always had been, so they thought they would send the delivery all together when the bed appeared back in stock. They did not want to make 2 deliveries! We asked why they hadn't contacted us.... no response. We explained over and over that we only had 3 days left until we left the country and the moron kept saying, yes, we are very sorry, but that order can be delivered after 27th September - we promise!!! We hung up eventually on the moron as he could not connect us to Adam Jones (never heard of him?) or a manager as they were all in meetings!!! That call cost us about 10 euros!
My friend called the number and eventually spoke to Adam Jones, he seemed quite casual about the call and certainly didn't seem surprised and thought that someone may have sent an e-mail (which they hadn't) He said it is all fine and we can deliver that order after 27th!!!! Unbelievable! My friend explained again and again that we would have left the country by then and we had always told him that from the moment of the order. He wasn't interested, but could definitely get us our order around 28th September!!! My friend asked him to cancel the order, which he said would take 7-10 days for a refund. We were pretty annoyed at this as they have £447.00 of our money for 10 days. I send an email to Adam Jones and got an out of office reply. He never replied to my email after a few days! My husband send an email to the main contact number and then Adam Jones responded by saying I personally cancelled your order and I will check right now with the finance department and get back to you. 2 days later, no reply, no refund. It is 13 days today and Sunday tomorrow, so 15 days with no refund! Have just sent another email to the main contact address and await.
Appalling service, appalling people. I wish I had read all the terrible complaints here and I would never have ordered from them.
We went into the Worthing store to see if he could perhaps get us the bed that was in his shop to make up for the mistake, he just sneered and laughed, you cannot take beds out of the shop, was his response. To be honest, we had never been into a Dreams shop, very scruffy, very depressing and the salesman in the Worthing branch, wearing a dirty, ill fitting suit, looked pretty depressed too. We want to say how awful their whole company is and how terrible it is that they have not refunded our money and at this point we don't even know if they will?

J'ai été très heureux avec cette entreprise

Facile à commander la livraison et très rapide. Un message à chaque fois quelque chose de différent s'est passé. Le numéro de la livraison et la date a été envoyé. Tous les produits étaient en bon état. Je vais certainement les utiliser encore. J'ai également posté une question et j'ai effectivement reçu une réponse - pas si d'habitude avec de nombreux sites Internet.
