Well I was looking for something special for my wife to celebrate our first anniversary - I wanted to have a picture from our wedding day on canvas, but had left it a little late to trawl the shops.
I googled canvas prints, saw immediately that Orbit offered next day delivery, and were having a sale and investigated further.
The website was very informative, easy to navigate and selection of the options I wanted was very straightforard, and the cost was constantly displayed as options were chosen/changed.
The phot upload was very easy - and I particulalry liked the notification that the upload was fit for the size i required (A1).
The only small complaint - I ordered on a Thursday at 1215, saw that the cutoff for next day delivery was 1200 - so selected Saturday delivery (anniversary was sunday)
at an additonal cost of £9 - but at 0915 friday morning the canvas was delivered.
I was really impressed at the speed ogf the delivery - however I am a little disapointed that I have not been offered a refund on the additonal charge for a saturday delivery.
I would use Orbit again - particularly for their ease of use and speed of delivery - but feel they could have made a goodwill gesture to refund the saturday delivery charge
Website easy to navigate, ordering easy - really fast delivery - ordered late sunday night, arrived early Tuesday morning - and included in order (depends on basket total).
Would like to see free delivery order value dropped - a lot of companies offer delivery free, or with a basket total of around £20 to £30
I was looking for Best Man and Usher gifts and chose 118 golf for the prices of the items I wanted and the express delivery option. All items were listed as in stock, ordered on a Sunday and needed delivery by the following Friday latest (my wedding was on the Saturday and I needed 3 of the items to be engraved). Chose express delivery option 2-4 days, and paid £4.99 for this, so expected delivery on the Thursday.
By thursday I still hadnt received a shipment/dispatch email notification. Went in to my order, and advised it was still 'processing'. Tried to contact 118 by phone but no number, so emailed them. To be fair they came back to me within 20mins via email and advised there were problems with 2 items on the order and the delivery wouldnt be made before the weekend. I advised them to cancel order, and then drove to American Golf to get the items (as near to the ones I needed anyway) and of course paid more money!!
Very disappointed that:
a. The website advised all items were in stock, when clearly they werent - and received a confirmation email that all was OK with the order.
b. I wasnt contacted by 118 golf to advise me there was an issue, i needed to contact them - poor proactive customer services
c. There is no number to phone them on and had to email them.
The only positive was they responded to my email very quickly and apologised - but this doesnt take away the fact they let me down.
First and last time I will order from them - I will go back to using Direct Golf whom I have never had an issue with.
