Not sure I will order again

I DO very much like the shower fixtures we bought thru Hudson Reed, but I had a couple problems with install and one particular item. I don't have international calling on my cell phone, so I was not able to call and speak with anyone. The online live chat has been or at least was unavailable during the couple weeks I was trying to resolve my issues. I did use an email contact and I did get a response, but it turned out that the fix suggested was not ideal. The wall plate for the shower controls does not screw to flatten flush against the wall. The email suggestion I got was to putty the plate. Putty proved not good enough so we had to use a stronger adhesive and we had to also caulk around the plate. Not ideal but in the end it looks ok, tho could still be more flush to wall.

I also had JUST went past my 30 days from purchase, so I found the NO RETURN policy after 30 days a bit too short of time. I simply also needed a different size shower arm and wanted a simple exchange. To keep all the fixtures the same, I was forced to buy a new arm. So ultimately, tho the fixtures are beautiful and seem to be of high quality, my ultimate experience in dealing with this company will not be worth my returning. Which is really too bad. I am a home Stager and designer and I could have done a LOT of business with this company had I just had a little better support and if they had a more realistic return and or exchange policy. As when you are remodeling an entire bathroom, often time runs over before all is installed, which was our case. So 30 days was not enough to know we needed to change one part out.

I'd like to apologise that your issue wasn't resolved as quickly as possible and would like to look into why this has happened. The returns policy of 30 days is to allow customers to change their mind etc and is not there to include defective items.
