Age Partnership
Equity Release through Age Partnership - Brilliant service and could not be more pleased
I had been thinking about equity release for about 2 years but was waiting to downsize into a 2 bed bungalow from a 4 bed house. We knew the bungalow was to need some renovation. We need a completely new kitchen and appliances and importantly convert the bathroom into a shower room for my wife who has arthritic problems. There were one or two other things that needed doing like skimming the walls in the lounge and entrance hall, new fire and fireplace, decorating throughout, which we had enough funds for. However the kitchen and bathroom are major cash consuming projects which are very much more difficult to fund. Age partnership had been sending me info on their latest deals for over 2 years and had been doing so regularly ever since I first showed an interest. Even so I did contact another similar service provider, but they were unable to match the deal and special cash back terms provided by Age Partnership. Their staff are superb - always there to answer questions - a point of contact with direct line telephone number was provided from the start of the process which in my case took only 6-7 weeks from application to completion through my own solicitor. Age Partnership do provide names and contact numbers for equity release experienced solicitors if you do not wish to use a solicitor of your own. Everything was explained to me in great detail, verbally by Age Partnership's staff and in easy to understand, though lengthy, written documents. We explained to our immediate family exactly what we were planning to do before we entered into the agreement. The process was so much smoother than I imagined it would be and that was due in large part to the Age Partnership service. Brilliant and could not be more pleased.
