Goods not delivered on time

Ordered a stand bag on Wednesday night, 2-3 working day delivery. Nothing arrived by the Monday so I called, was advised bag sent to courier that day and would be here Tues/Wed at the latest. Still nothing on Wed, so I called again, was told they would find out what was happening and call back in 5 mins. No call back. Called again, they advised problem with courier, couldn't locate the bag. Offered a choice of a refund (money back in 48 hrs) or they would get the bag here by today (Friday) with compensation for the wait. Bag arrived, goods as described, no sign of compensation.

I have used Golf247 before and received the product on time, so I appreciate that this might have been a one-off, but in future I would be reluctant to order larger items through this company.

* In response to comment: I previously ordered a £20 trolley for my son. It arrived as described and in time. I did not review Golf247 because at the time I didn't know about Trustpilot.

Thanks for the review. I am sorry that there was a delay with the bag. Sometimes we do have problems with couriers.

Im sorry, but i cant seem to see the positive review that was left when everything went smoothly.



Stressful experience

Ordered a set of clubs for my son's birthday. Site advises "In stock - 3 to 5 day delivery". Ordered on the Fri, received email on the Tues morning to say clubs held in remote storage & would be 6 working days. Called and was told that "in stock" info on site was incorrect, they would see what they could do. I'd heard nothing by Monday so called again & spoke with a manager who advised problems with Cleveland Golf rep. Received an email from couriers on Wed said they'd attempted to deliver clubs but nobody was in (not true). No phone number to query with couriers. Called sellers again who arranged for the clubs to be delivered again later that day. Although customer service reps were friendly and sympathetic, the price was competitive, & the product was as described, I feel that by claiming a product is "in stock" when it isn't and not giving realistic delivery timescales, is not fair on customers (product was still showing "in stock" for the 13 days from when I'd ordered it). Explanation that the site is so big and impossible to keep updated is not acceptable. If I ever use this company again, I will check beforehand to make sure the product really is in stock.
