I paid £38 for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered to Denmark. The first delivery attempt on a Thursday was unsuccessful. The flowers were eventfully delivered the following Tuesday, five days later. To my horror, the recipient of the flowers told me the bouquet contained six roses which were completely dead and dry. I can only imagine that the bouquet was sitting in the delivery box for five days!!!!! The company said it was my fault and that I had provided an incorrect address. However I noticed that they had omitted part of the flat number I had provided on the despatch address. They initially agreed to a 50% refund but after numerous emails they now say they will issue another partial refund, although I am still chasing this.
Overall, if a delivery is unsuccessful for whatever reason it is unacceptable to keep the flowers in a box for five days and then redeliver them.
