deliveries do not arrive on time, atrocious service

Beware of this company. Having taken a full day off work, the parcels did not arrive. Customer service was not surprised and I was told it would be a further 1-2 days for the 2 day delivery option I had paid for. Customer service involves using on-line support, which takes 7-8 minutes to respond to each line typed, even if they are responding with nothing other than platitudes. I was responded to by Andrew who, after 16 minutes, had obviously just checked the screen I was looking at and responded with "it will not arrive today". The service may be cheap but is it worth is to spend an undetermined number of days off work waiting for a delivery which may never come while support does nothing to help?

In response to the reply they made. This is their attitude. Just a small delay, even though it is a 50% increase in the delivery time if the parcel arrives today. They have been adamant that NONE OF THEIR DELIVERY DAYS ARE GUARANTEED. So remember this is you book with them, it may say 2 day delivery or 3 day or 4 but NONE OF THIS IS GUARANTEED - these are estimates only. If you book next day delivery and it arrives after 5 days, this is your problem and not their problem.

On support, they check their system and the local system for the carrier. If you are using an overseas service, they will not check the overseas website for up to date information even if you contact them. In my opinion, you are better off booking through the carrier yourself to at least get access to the carrier support.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused in regards to this matter.

We can see the parcel is out for delivery today and we are sorry that there was a slight delay on this.

We do aim with our couriers to have all parcels delivered by the estimated delivery dates but whilst volumes increase over the festive period a small amount of parcels due become subject to a small delay and we do all we can to minimize the inconvenience caused.

Be Warned!

If you order from these people ,you are insane. Broken goods arrived but they pretty much ignore e-mails and they have no department with a telephone which can deal with returns - having to contact card company for a refund. Think about it, you are buying from a company with no telephone contact number for returns! If anything does go wrond you have to wait for a reply by e-mail and in my experience, emails are ignored :-( BEWARE!
