My flight to/from San Francisco went well, and I received the level of service I would expect.
But they keep sending me newsletters, even though I keep cancelling them. As far as I know, this is illegal. Despite many automatic, and many manual requests to their customer support, I still got spam. Only after I reported them to the Danish ombudsman, they stopped.
Hipmunk adds an important feature by sorting travel itineraries by least agony (combination of price, layovers, etc.). This is really cool, and I will definitely use this site as my starting point for airtravel, as much as possible.
The interface can be confusing at times, though.
I had a problem regarding the profile images (related to a known bug), and they were able to pinpoint the problem very accurately.
What the site does, it does very well, keeping things simple.
