I have used there sister companies in the past with no trouble, so when I wanted a camera case for a weekend trip there site was appealing because of the next day delivery and choice in stock?
Anyhow the Crumpler case arrived next day as it should, but on opening the plastic branded Crumpler bag was open and on inspection the padded shoulder piece was missing in action!
I emailed straight away explaining my need for a quick resolution as I was going on a trip thus the purchase, and said I would be happy if they just sent me the shoulder piece out if possible and if not should I return it?
2 days later just a response saying yes I could return it and just that nothing about them possibly sending me a shoulder strap piece!
I used there free return service which is the only good thing at least it free (but slow)
They received the case back, and 24 hours later I received my refund minus £9.10 for ADJUSTMENT FEE?????
The case was faulty in the first place and now they have the cheek to try and take money for what? I am waiting there response but all in all a bad experience leaving me out of pocket for there mistake!
Hopefully I will get the money back, but even so a bad show for what could have been easily resolved with a bit more customer care?
UPDATE ! Have been told that it was a mistake and they apologised for taking £9.10, but no refund as yet although they say it has been sanctioned??
UPDATE 2! After having to send yet another email my refund was back in my account 5 days after my email asking where refund was?
All well that ends well but appalling customer service in what could have been sorted with just them sending me a spare strap from another bag?
