missing all estimates, slow to no response to my e-mails


This is my 2nd order, the 1st one was cancelled due to some complications, www.myprotein.com would not accept my friends credit card without obnoxious intrusion of privacy and disclosure of personal data, we had horrible experience trying to get the money back (the old order #4316464).

This time (order #4419569) I used my own credit card and expected a smooth process as described by some of my friends (that persuaded me in this 2nd attempt). I was wrong.

They took the cash but the order was not dispatched. In order confirmation (automated response) I got:

Myprotein® operates a fully automated order placing service which ensures that we can fulfil the delivery promises detailed on our website.

Dispatch Estimate: 24-Jul-2012
Delivery Estimate: 27-Jul-2012

I sent an e-mail on 27-Jul-2012 to ask about the status.There was no response.

I sent another e-mail on 30-Jul-2012, no response either.
I sent another e-mail on 31-Jul-2012, no response either.

I kept service desk tag [CARE #DYF-858368] in subject as directed... didn't help.


On the evening of 1-Aug-2012 (makes me think customer service is not in the UK due to their working hours) I actually received lame inquiry that demanded that I prove my identity (again). I did that (again) and I got an e-mail items will be dispatched.

I sent another e-mail on 2-Aug-2012, no response.

On 3-Aug-2012 and actually got a response. They said the order was released on the night of 2nd August 2012. Several e-mails were exchanged that day.


I waited few days hoping things will turn out right. I was disappointed, again. No items, no e-mail about dispatch, no delivery tracking code on webpage, no change in order status.

I sent another e-mail on 8-Aug-2012, no response.
I sent another e-mail on 9-Aug-2012, no response. (today)

It has been 16 days since the order was placed and cash was taken from my account. All the items were marked as "In stock" at the time of purchase. Missing all estimates, again. No reason was given for the delays. Last 2 e-mails were ignored.

Being persistant as I am I managed to get my 400EUR worth purchase yesterday. Its been several weeks... The items seem to be ok and should meet my requirements.

Will update this on next order, customer care promised no delays and swift delivery on subsequent orders. Will also report if the promo code they gave me for my truble will work :)
