Delivery was shambolic

Despite stipulating at point of order that delivery day was essential to this order, the handler decided to keep back the order as they found stock very slightly short, rang me once without leaving a message to call back or to inform me, and left me waiting in all day instead of calling back again or emailing me, to let me know of the delay. I was amazed by the lack of basic business sense. Terrible service. Will never use this company again.

You seem to have a selective memory. I have looked at the history of this order and there are lots of emails back and forward between yourself and us, making changes to the delivery address, telephone number, delivery day etc. I can see we actually worked hard communicating with you, making changes, trying to contact you, emailing you and generally trying to make the transaction go smoothly. In the end it was agreed with you that delivery needed to be for Thursday 10th and we therefore despatched on the 9th. There is no lack of basic business sense here, I can assure you, we spend all day every day serving customers and helping to make sure deliveries go smoothly. Yes, from time to time there are mix ups, courier failures and or problems contacting the customer, but we are a good, honest company that do our best to help. Your comments are offensive to us.
