I ordered a XXL coat from their website, it was apparently the only size they had in stock. When it arrived it was a XL. Not great! Tried it on too tight so I had to return it. Rang the Customer Service number and the guy on the phone was really helpful. Checked the stock, no XXL in stock (strange as that was the only size their website had?) HE emailed me a return label with postage paid. Took about 10 working days but I got my money back no problems. So can't fault them on that. Shame about the stock notice on the website as it was a great coat.
There delivery is definitely not to be trusted. I missed a delivery and rang the number as instructed. After 3 attempts finally got through to a woman (not a business). She informed me she would deliver around 1pm the next day. She did not show up. When I tried ringing the number there was no answer, I rang again 1 minute later from my mobile and a very abrupt man answered (great way to represent a business) He claimed they had tried to deliver the previous day, when I pointed out I had stayed in all day, he dropped the argument. As they were nearby I offered to pick up from them, he refused to give me the address and told me to ring back after 7pm. I rang 3 times after 7pm and yes that's right no answer. What a surprise.
Spoke to Yodel "customer service" the next day and they tried ringing them and there was no answer either. So some random person is currently holding my parcel hostage and there appears no way for me to get it.
I had order a leather jacket from Sports Direct. I was not in when the courier Yodel tried to drop off. I rang the number on the card to rearrange and a woman said she would deliver the next day. Waited in all day no delivery. Rang the number again no answer this time. Rang it from my mobile and funnily enough I got an answer. A very abrupt man, who tried to claim they had attempted to make the delivery (lie 1) As they were apparently based close to my home I said I would pick up from them. Could he was going out to work, (his parter wasn't though!) phone back after 7pm to get the address he point blank refused to give it me there and then, I asked him would he answer the phone yes (lie 2) I rang 3 times between 7-8pm no answer what a surprise.
The next day I rang Yodel, they tried ringing them and yes that's right no answer. I have emailed Sports Direct as there is no phone number on their website and would not trust Yodel to deliver sandwiches nevermind parcels.
I would advise until they get a pick up in store service or if you are house bound, not to use the online facility for Sports Direct as their couriers deliver at their convenience.
The pants I ordered arived really quickly no problems, exactly how they were described, well actually they were better than I was expecting.
