Appalling 8 weeks before delivery

We ordered a bed which they initially guaranteed would arrive within 3 weeks, ready for us when we moved into our new house.

The delivery date came and went, without any bed, or indeed, even a phone call to explain. Since then we have hassaled them time and again for over a month, as they have repeatedly delayed deliver, blaming the delay on the manufacturers and wholly failing to offer any genuine apology. Their customer service staff are poorly trained and unhelpful, often hanging up the phone before we have completed the conversation.

And to add insult to injury, once the bed finally arrived at the warehouse, they handed delivery responsibility over to a subcontracted company who has delayed the process for a further week.

The whole experience has left me fuming. I would seriously dissuade anyone from buying from this company, no matter how attractive their prices may seem.

If it hadn't been for the gift of a bed from a relative who was downsizing we would have been sleeping on a sofa bed for 5 weeks due to their incompetency and unproffessionalism.
