Great product and service let down by delivery

I placed my order on Monday evening and paid extra for express delivery (by DPD). I was later advised by text message and email that the delivery date would be Friday.

If I had selected regular deliver I am certain that I would have received the order by Wednesday at the latest. As advised the order did arrive on the Friday but this was too late for my trip.

The product is good, the communication is good and Simply Scuba are first rate, however for small items that you need in a hurry I would recommend sticking with Royal Mail and save yourself a few bob!

We are sorry to hear of the frustrations with delivery that customer experienced. Under the Express Postage option chosen by customer at point of order, the goods were despatched the morning after the order was placed and should therefore have arrived at destination within 48 hours from date of despatch, therefore by thursday 12th latest. Our sincere apologies that the delivery did not take place until the day after on the 13th and with this in mind we will reimburse the customer with the postage costs.
