Fast efficient service for a very competitive product
Found the item in my size, in stock and at a very competitive price. Ordered in the afternoon and the product arrived next day - brilliant.

Damaged on delivery but looked after by customer service
The units turned up damaged due to really poor packaging. Not sure if this is typical of Big Dug as this is my first order with them. I agreed to keep the product in return for some discount which was an acceptable outcome. Disappointing first experience.
The Max2 shelving was, as others have said very tricky to put together. Ideally you really need four pairs of hands. The lugs on the braces are difficult to line up and often bent. Once the units starts to build the twist created in the uprights makes it more difficult to line the lugs up on the cross beams. Pretty poor design really - could nearly have made one from scratch out timber in about the same time. Whilst you don't really need instructions I think it would be good practice to provide some form of guidance.

We have had a some problems with this shelving unit reported to us in the past and have looked into the problems and spoken to our suppliers in regards to this, we had thought the problem had been rectified and the new batch of units going out without further problems reported, if there was damages to the shelving unit this could contribute to the assembly problems.
I will however flag this up to management and ask them to look into these problems, I am very sorry for the inconvenience caused
The units should have had instructions attached either with the melamine levels or with the paperwork so I do apologies these were not present with the delivery, we do include instructions online, you tube clips and can send them via email if requested
