One-click service really saves time

I have been using the one-click and collect service for weekly groceries for a few months. The service is pretty good - we normally get what we ordered, occasionally items are substituted but this has always been pointed out on collection and the option to have a refund on these items offered. The website is reasonable to use and has useful options such as Favourites lists although you must have a Tesco Clubcard to activate these options. The website can be a bit erratic to search and sometimes doesn't find items easily but overall the service saves us a lot of time. I also suspect we are buying less spur-of-the-moment purchases which may not please Tesco in the long run! The only time consuming part is searching the Special Offers as this often runs to more than 20 webpages.

Fridge spare parts - why buy a whole replacement shelf

Ordered the back plastic part for a Beko fridge - the part turned up promptly and was exactly correct. This saved the cost of replacing the whole shelf as only the plastic support was broken. Only improvement I could suggest is making the illustrations on the website a little larger as this helps confirm you are ordering the correct part.

Really good apart from timer operating manual

Order a chrome electic heated towel radiator and digital timer control (Grasslin digital socket box timer). Goods arrived promptly. Radiator is excellent. All installed fine although the display on the timer is a little hard to read and the instruction manual is quite hard to follow. Eventually worked it out with some experimentation but revision of the manual, or sending out a separate sheet to give clearer step-by-step instructions on how to set up programs would be good.
Overall though would definitely recommend products from this company.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We have in fact been through the exact same thought process ourselves and we are about to launch a simplified instructions sheet for the Grasslin timers. We feel the instructions supplied are a little over complicated, so will be formulating our own simplified version.

Excellent customer service

I bought a number of eStat 562 underfloor heating controllers from Elementshop several years ago. On turning on the heating this autumn one unit malfunctioned. I emailed Elements explaining the situation and was told that a replacement unit would be put in the post the same day. At these units are expensive to replace (around £100) and as it was strictly speaking out of the statutory warranty period I feel this represents excellent customer service. (In case anyone thinks this is an easy way to get a free thermostat, I did need to produce my original invoice and I do need to return the faulty unit to them when I swap-in the new controller).

Prompt refund

I ordered a bulk order of the wrong light bulbs from EnviroLights, this was entirely my fault for not checking the product number carefully enough - a couple of emails sorted the problem and I got a refund, plus re-ordered the correct lights which turned up promptly.

Good prompt service

Ordered a wet room kit via the website which provides good guidance on dimensions and what is included. All items as advertised arrived a few days later. Because we live in a remote area, the glass panel took an extra couple of days to arrive but the company phoned me to advise on this. Kit is well priced compared to suppliers such as Homebase and contains everything needed to do the installation. One small issue the company could look at is that the box containing the small parts and tanking compound had opened in transit (although nothing was missing); it would be worth either taping the boxes more strongly before dispatch or obtaining slightly stronger boxes.


Good customer service

We had the windows in our house replaced by Dalmatian Windows last year. Recently one of the inside panes developed a crack. After a brief call to customer services a company employee called round within a couple of days. After taking details and measuring the window, the unit was replaced within one week, no fuss or arguments. Given that we live in quite a remote part of the west of Scotland I would consider this very good service.


Good website and prompt delivery

The website actually links to a drawing of all the brackets with dimensions so you can check that it will fit your TV before ordering. I used this to select a bracket and this was delivered promptly.


Safe Mount Don't trust the model selector web tool

I used the model selector tool on the Safe Mount website and ordered one of the recommended brackets. It arrived a couple of days late but that was not too bad. Problems started when I tried to fit it to the TV, it absolutely will not fit correctly. I rechecked the website thinking I might have made an error but it came up with the same recommendation. I am not in the process of trying to get a refund but reading other reviews on this company I am not too hopeful
