Wish I could be bothered to write about all the headache I had with Boots and my eye test. Done incorrectly - given a wrong script. My June 2011 test was O.25 lower than the eye test I had in June 2011 but the practitioner had told me my sight had deteriorated and I needed a 0.25 higher than June 2011. The error was fortunately picked up (by me) prior to ordering my contact lenses and luckily, because I could not be bothered to stand around in the shop any longer (had already taken 1.5 hours of my time) I did not pick out my glasses in the new script - my old ones were the right strength. It would have been money down the drain. Then.. another long, long story about trying to get my order of lenses from Boots online. That is a tale and a half. Suffice to say they took my money out of my account on day one but it took three weeks to get the lenses delivered. They did not respond to e-mails and so I resorted to calling them ... and even then got little to no joy. The lenses did eventually arrive, I promptly returned them in protest and I am still waiting for my refund. In the interim I had ordered lenses from a different on-line supplier and I received them 2 days later - and a whole lot cheaper. My recommendation is use anybody but Boots.
Highly recommend Feel Good Contact Lenses. The price of the lenses was very good and working around their web-site was so easy. Ordered my lenses after hours on the Wednesday and they were delivered very promptly on Saturday morning. The tracking number provided was very useful for tracking the progress of the order on the Post Office website. I have placed an order for solution through them this evening and had hardly logged out of their site when my order confirmation and tracking number was received. Will use them again and again.
