Awful service... 2 weeks in a row!

First complaint:

I made an order with a friend of mine who owns a company in Manchester. The order was for some printing that was needed by my girlfriend for part of her degree course.
The item was printed and collected by DPD for a next-day delivery... the next day came and my girlfriend stayed at home waiting for her parcel. It never came, so I called my friend to see if he could chase it up for her.
He called DPD and was told "We attempted delivery at 07:20am, the house had a white door" This is utter none-sense as she had been up and about since before 7am!
The parcel did finally turn up... over a week late! Needless to say, none of us were impressed!

Second Complaint:

I ordered some items from the same friend up north and they were collected on the Thursday before Easter, they were supposed to be delivered today and according to the online tracking info, they were "Out for delivery" and should have been delivered between 16:14pm - 17:14pm... they weren't... in fact, they're still not here!

At 17:16pm, a white van did pull up on top of my drive and the driver got out with one of them scanning/signing electronic readers in his hand and began to sift through, what were unmistakably, parcels in the back of his van. After 5 minutes of taking things out, laying them on the floor and having a good-old search, he put everything back in and drove off!

This could have been a coincidence, so I checked the website to see if any notes had been made regarding delivery, but no. What I did notice was the "Out for delivery" had reverted back to "At delivery depot" which has convinced me that 'Van man' should have delivered my parcel!

Just incase he has made any notes regarding a failed delivery, such as saying "No answer at door", I took a picture of him and his van on my phone to prove that I was in and within sight and earshot of my front door!

If you even want the slightest chance to redeem yourself, I expect my parcel to be here first thing in the morning... I think it's the least I deserve.

DPD, you are awful and a disgrace! I will never use you again out of choice and I have sent all this information to my friend so he can receive a FULL refund from you for your failed service.

Regarding the first complaint, you have not provided a parcel reference number for this, so I am unable to look into what happened here. If you would like me to look into this, please email socialmedia@dpd.co.uk with your parcel reference number for this item, and also a contact phone number.

Regarding the second complaint, I'm unsure as to why this happened. Again, can you please email socialmedia@dpd.co.uk with a contact number so I can get one of our customer service agents to contact you to resolve.

I ordered 2 x Pulse speaker stands from SoundSavers and they arrived within 24 hours. I have taken them out of their boxes and they are in good condition and are very sturdy.

I have used SoundSavers before and will continue to use them again and again.
