The product was easy to order and we were impressed that it was next day delivery too:)!
However, that's where our excitment ended.
CityLink delivered our main package to another address on Tuesday 24th July (Mrs Pamela Jackson at 40 Paston Lane, Peterborough) which was just a few streets away. Mrs Jackson some how got my mobile number from the package (which was fortunate for us) and rang me directly and said that they'd not only delivered her package but ours too at her address. She very kindly rang CityLink to get it picked up (as it was far too heavy for them to redeliver) and redelivered to us. I rang CityLink on Wednesday 25th July to make sure it would be brought straight round on that day, but they said it had got to be taken back to the depot before it could be redelivered and that it would be delivered to us the next day (Thursday) however it's the school holidays and we were out on that day so I'd arranged for it to be redelivered on Friday 27th July when someone would be in to help with the trampoline. However my parents waited in all day with my children (when they could have taken them out for the day) and come 2.30pm the trampoline still had not come. I rang CityLink and they said it would not be delivered now until Monday 30th July!!!!!!! I told them that this was terrible customer service and now on Monday my mum and children would NOT be able to help them carry it in and not to ask. It's a good job this birthday present was sent for well in advance otherwise we would have had one very unhappy child.
I'm not sure who's at fault because it looks like the wrong address was put on our package in the 1st place and CityLink are just not a good delivery service, are badly organised and don't keep their word about delivery dates.
This will be a complaint too.
