I've ordered twice from CRC this month. Answer carbon riser bars and then SRAM XO front shifter. Both items were well priced, and delivered next day to mainland UK.
Website has fantastic range, fair prices and free returns labels are included in the box when you receive your item. Not had to call on them for customer service, but whilst all is well I've no reason to complain about anything.
Quick deliveries have kept me on the bike so one happy customer here!
Was alerted to Cycle Store through Google when I was hunting for cheap prices on a Specialized Romin saddle. After seeing the Trust Pilot customer reviews and competitive prices (on Altura cycling clothes in my case) my shopping bag ended up somewhat heavier than expected.
The order turned up with free delivery inside 36 hours despite the order being placed outside of core shopping hours, (and with full Parcelforce tracking which is always reassuring).
Top marks, one very happy customer. Will be returning in future.
I bought my first set of Campagnolo rimmed custom built mountain bike wheels from Merlin in 1994. Back then I'd found them in the supplier section within MBUK (before the days when the net was readily accessible!), so took a punt and the wheels came quickly and at a great price. In the late 90's I got more custom wheels (Hope/Mavics), and yet again quick delivery, great price, superb build. I've been out of the MTB scene for over 10 years and just got back into it recently, and was somewhat surprised to see Merlin are still delivering exceptional vale wheel sets. Just purchased their 2013 Mavic Crossride wheels and they were as much as £70 cheaper a set than some competitors. If UPS hadn't left the package at the warehouse at Tamworth for an extra day they'd have been delivered super quick too. So many retailer start off cheap and either nudge their prices up or get complacent over time. I'm pleased to say nearly 20 years on from my first order I can still highly recommend Merlin; exceptional prices, superb wheel sets, and superb service; well done guys!
After buying a new Onkyo AV 3D ready network receiver, it became clear that it was necessary to upgrade my old 1.2 spec HDMI cables to 1.4 standard (a cost I could well do without).
I found out about Lindy after buying a hifi mains conditioner which offered really good sound improvements, so thought I'd revisit them to see what their HDMI cables were like. Their automated helper ensured it was easy to choose the right cables to meet my needs, and five cables (ranging from 0.5m - 5m) only cost £70 including P&P. A single cable at Richer Sounds was £44.
I wondered whether they could be as good as the QED/Chord cables being replaced, but can happily confirm that whilst they look a little less glam to the eye, there is no noticeable degradation of sound or video quality on our Panny 50" VT30 Plasma / Onkyo 809 AV Amp. I'd always been dubious of cheaper cables but early indications are that they are every bit a match for the expensive cables they replaced.
Fast delivery with tracking completed another great transaction; thank you Lindy, one very happy customer!
