I love these guys!!

Appliance repair is the pits. There's always some magical little thing you've never heard of before that has degraded, or snapped, or was defective from the beginning that causes the whole thing to go to hell. And usually, the cost of fixing it is half - or MORE - of what buying a NEW replacement would be!

However, in the case of my oven, I have a problem. It's a wall oven, very specific in dimension. I spent almost three months tracking down something that would fit in there, and while I'm still not completely happy with it, I can only do something about it when the Reconstruction Fairy gives me twenty grand to re-do the kitchen. But I digress.

Paul came out the same day I called - literally less than two hours later. He found the culprit was a bad igniter (very common, I am told, for ovens) and was able to fix it up in a couple of hours. The price wasn't too painful, considering appliance repair isn't exactly cheap AND he had to take the whole thing apart to get to the faulty piece. And I've now waited a couple weeks to review - and it works GREAT. Possibly BETTER than it did when it was brand new.
