Simply Baby

Took payment for a product which was not in stock

I have had a very good experience with Simply Baby up to this point having purchased a number of items from them. However, I purchased a parasol last week which I was told would be sent next day. When it hadn't turned up 3 working days later I sent an email and received no reply. I phoned the next day to be told that there was no record of the product being sent to me and that I would be refunded because it wasn't in stock. This was most unfortunate as I had declined buying it from another seller to give Simply Baby the business, but when I went back to purchase it, it had been sold. Even more frustrating, I have since found out that there is a problem with supply of the product from the manufacturer and I am unlikely to get the product in the required colour. I have since bought it in a similar colour from another company.
