Washing machine delivery was quick and convenient. The price was right and service seemed good. The delivery guys were good and gave me a couple of calls with updates on when they would arrive. The convoluted call to try to persuade me to buy insurance was annoying.
While the product and ordering process is OK, the people they use for delivery leaves a lot to be desired. The guy couldn't be ruder. I was upstairs when he arrived and it took me a few seconds to get down to the door and in those few seconds he almost kicked the door down. When I opened the door he stepped away from me and turned his back to me and grunted 'shed' ... I assumed he wanted to know where to leave it (I don't speak grunt), he walk off as I told him the baby was sleeping so I'd leave the door open should he need anything, so basically don't knock or ring. Needless to say he ignored me and this time grunted 'sign'. Without a doubt the rudest man I've ever met but probably nothing the retailer can do about that
UPDATE: A textbook example of how to turn a negative situation into positive sentiment. Green & Easy contacted us to find out more so they could follow up with the delivery company. The lady who called was lovely and very apologetic. Very good customer service and we would use them again.
