My partner paid £296 for 4 tickets for Deacon Blue last July (2012) and we were looking forward to taking my friend and her husband (travelling up from Leamington) to Manchester on Thursday 11th October.
We got an email on Monday 1st October to say the tickets were being tracked and be with us 3-5 days before the event.
TWO days before the event we got an email to say:
We are contacting you with regards to your transaction for 2367842
Unfortunately, we have just been made aware that the seller of your tickets does not actually have them anymore and therefore is unable to fulfil his order.
We are currently trying to secure some replacement tickets for you. Should we not be able to find suitable replacement tickets, we will proceed with a full refund of your transaction."
This is an appalling email as we need to make arrangements for tomorrow and therefore we have told our friends not to travel. We now need to now our refund will be made today but there has been no reply to an email we sent yesterday and no telephone number to ring.
Does anyone have a number on which to vent my dissatisfaction?
Hadn't heard of this service until I googled on Sunday to see if M&S or the Post Office had the best rate for my hols on Thursday.
Ordered 1500 euros on Sunday night and received them recorded delivery this morning (Tuesday).
Will definitely change my cash this way from now!!
