Friendly staff, professional advice (thank you Chris and Jerry), and FAST delivery. My items were of the highest quality, correctly dispatced and safely packaged. I thought I should move to Morecambe just to be close to the best angling shop in the world, but with online service like this, I won't have to!
When I ordered the item (for the amount of £388 on 06/08/12), I saw that it was out of stock, and will take three days to reach the Waveinn warehouse. That was completely reasonable, and I included the DHL Air fee in my payment (about £27) which meant the item should reach me within a day or two after the item reaches the Waveinn warehouse. And here was the first dissapointment: After completing the order and parting with my money, I received a confirmation email from Waveinn that they received my order. But the email stated that the item would only reach the warehouse on 14/08/12! This, in my opinion, is dishonesty! Today, 16/08/12, the item has yet to be dispatched, and the explanation is that "yours was not in the delivered box. We are waiting for the delivery date". Thus Waveinn have had my money for two weeks, I have no delivery date, and I am worried that they are not able to source this item (a Shimano Surf Leader fishing rod). Whatever happens from here on, I will NEVER buy anything from them again.
I received an email this morning from Waveinn. The item I ordered is not available, as the provider cannot say when they will be able to supply new stock. In the meantime you can still order it from waveinn's website and expect delivery within 3 days. WHAT A JOKE!
To add to this farce: I called the number provided to ask for a refund. After the initial "Welcome to Waveinn, someone will be with you shortly.", I was cut off after a few minutes. I have now asked for a refund via the online form. WHATCH this space, lol!
