Good Value, Bad Claims Process...

I took out insurance a year or so ago and had my phone stolen whilst on crutches a few months into my policy. As inconvenient as it was, I followed the recommendations on blocking my phone, reporting it to the police and I called up to make a claim. After 10 minutes of waiting, I was emailed a form, where I provided proof of purchase, detail of the incident and crime reference number and then I waited over a week after ringing up numerous times for an update then I was rung out of the blue to do a conference call with my insurance company and service provider.
By this time, I was already through to complaints as I had to purchase a temporary phone and was getting quite impatient- as their TV advert shows, they have a 24 hour claim process. A couple of days later, I received a replacement phone. The whole process took approximately three weeks.
Although the process was unnecessarily lengthy and delayed, the complaints advisor reimbursed me for all calls to their premium rate number and was given a full apology.
I don't know what other peoples experiences with claiming are but I'm not so surprised it took that long really- insurers want to verify thefts, assess claims and ensure information is correct and you can almost certainly say you can't blame them for that.

Thank you for your constructive review. I am very sorry that it did take so long to process your claim. We aim to replace all gadgets within 48 hours of a successful claim, but as you say unfortunately processing the claim can sometimes take longer. This is down to the unfortunate nature of insurance as we need to make sure we are reducing the risk of fraudulent claims. However I am glad that It was recognised that your claim was too lengthy and that you got a full apology. We do understand that it should never have to take this long. Once again thank you for your review and we will take this on board.

This is like, the best thing ever!

I've had a Nectar card for about a year now and used it on online purchases and in stores and I can safely say I've easily earnt and spent over £40 worth of points, which is brilliant considering its free!

No problems, well except a little one...

Their tracking system is awful- said it was out for delivery at quarter past three in the morning then returned to depot and back out again!? However, delivered in under 24 hours I can't really complain for a three day service.
Courier delivery man was polite and handover had no problems.
A good service, however only used them once, and after the reviews here it's doubtful I'll use them again...

Outstanding, exemplary customer service

Used these for a while now, so convenient for sending and receiving parcels. Had a problem with a delivery once, but after a quick call and 30 minutes later it was resolved! Delivery has always been quicker than 3-5 days as promised. I have waited at longest three days with an average of two day wait.
Excellent value too, easily beats it's competitors to convenience and cost, especially when sending heavier items.

No problems at all- highly recommended!

Had a few deliveries from these guys in the past months, and unlike other delivery companies they have been 100% accurate! I receive a text on the day of delivery with an hour timeslot for delivery and it comes within 25 minutes of the specified slot.
Delivery drivers are friendly and provide outstanding customer service.
This company tops my list of recommended couriers.

These cowboys can't even count!

I have a mental breakdown everytime I see YODEL as the delivery method on my dispatch note.
Latest Delivery- Missed a delivery, and for a change the driver thought they would deliver it to a neighbour, for my convenience!? I think not!!
YODEL man/woman/idiot decided to pop a card through my door which said they had delivered it to a neighbour and put MY address to where the parcel is!
After half an hour of knocking on neighbours doors (I have never spoke to any neighbour on my street, so it was an interesting experience) looking like an absolute idiot, I finally found my parcel.
YODEL- I have found fault with EVERY delivery! I hate using your service and I cannot find a good thing about your company and I hope the remaining few retailers who use you start listening to their customers.
