I've always used myHermes courier and they have never let me down before. The longest that my recipients' waiting time is usually just a couple of days. However, things have changed recently. My parcel has been collected last Tuesday, 07 August and I thought my sister in law has already received it by now, but to my dismay, she hasn't. We tried tracking it online but the last updated status was last Friday, 10 Aug at 4am and it says that it's out for delivery to courier! And that was it! No updates whatsover as to where it is as of this moment! I am changing courier from now on. There's ParcelMonkey which is a pound more expensive but it gets delivered NEXT DAY. I should've opted for that instead! And London is not that far to have something delivered this long! I am so unhappy!
They finally sent me an email last Friday, 17 August (10 days after the parcel was collected), saying that they admit that the parcel is misplaced and that they swept the depot but it wasn't recovered! The sad part here is, I didn't place any insurance on that parcel, just so I can save money, so basically, all the personal stuff of my sister in law (costs almost £65) just disappeared to thin air!
Been using this service since 2010, but NEVER AGAIN! Please do NOT use this service if you want your stuff delivered, use ParcelMonkey (CityLink) or Royal Mail Special Delivery.
