Ordered a pair of Hugo Boss varifocals was told ready in a week, three weeks later I phoned them and was told they were ready (this should of rang alarm bells as they couldn’t be bothered to tell me) went to collect and couldn't believe how bad they had made them. One lens was twice as thick as the other even though my prescription is the same for both eyes, they gave me some bull about 2mm pupil difference. I spoke to another optician who laughed and told me it was rubbish. Went back to OE and asked for the £250 deposit to be refunded to my card they said they can’t do that and I would need to APPLY to customer services for MY money back and it would take about a month to go through....Well after 3 months and the threat of legal proceedings I have finally got my money back.
Shocking horrible lying dishonest company in my mind they are no better than crooks
Avoid at all costs
P.S. My credit card company said without written confirmation from OE that they will refund me there's nothing credit card company can do....Trading standards said that's nonsense Card company are liable for refund.
