Great sale prices, expensive & very slow delivery

Ordered online as sale prices were very good. Still waiting on the items 10 days after ordering, after being charged £6 for delivery. Customer service a little frustrating, as advised that one of the in-stock items is in fact out of stock. After suggesting the same item in another colour it was added. After being advised the second choice item is out of stock, I choose a third item. I cannot understand how items that 'have been added to my order' can then be out of stock - assuming their stock system would only allow in-stock items to be selected. By comparison I have previously ordered from another site and have the received the items very quickly with no delivery charge.
In summary - good deals but not so good service.

Thanks for the feedback and apologies about the stock issues. We tend to experience discrepancies like this when we near the end of a sale, due to end of line items being sold/reserved in store, but we are doing all we can to make sure the problem is kept to a minimum.
