Ordered Item from Tesco and was told delivery date. Only to receive a card on the day before delivery was due to say they attempted delivery...BS, I was in all day and did not get a knock on the door or a ring of my doorbell. So I waited for most of the day the next day until I had to go out...another card JUST after I had gone out!! Typical! So I phoned and rearranged delivery for today.....it is now 10pm and I'm still waiting!!! I phoned the number on the back at 8.30pm tonight to check what time they deliver to, to be told they deliver until 9pm so I waited. After 9pm this evening I went on the website to track my parcel and find a contact number to speak to a human being (to be honest I dont think any work at YODEL!!) so according to my tracking my parcel has been delayed...no Idea why, it didnt tell me. And the phone number to contact customer services closes funnily enough at 9pm, so you wait till the end of delivery time and no delivery but cant contact anyone as they close then. What a shambles of a service. I have now rearranged delivery AGAIN for tomorrow. If it does not appear trading standards will be contacted. Oh and before any YODEL employee replies below asking me to email email@example.com dont bother I already have but wanted to advise all for the sake of their own sanity....please do not use this company!!

I have used My Hermes a couple of times to collect parcels for stuff I have sold on Ebay. And up to now have been kind of satisfied (always weren't sure about the drivers though looked kinda dodgy!) Anyway, I have sold another Item on Ebay so I ordered a collection from my abode on the 20th August. So I wait all day and no collection, not really worried as they have collected later in the evening before. I went to make myself a coffee and heard something coming through the letterbox. Went to pick it up and it was a "Sorry you were out card"!!!!!! eh? Ive been at home the whole day, the Driver (who I have no problem naming here - "Timi") left his name and phone number, I ran out of the house like a woman possessed thinking I may catch him but to no avail. So I decided to phone this "Timi" which I did. He said he tried the doorbell but it wasn't working, I told him that was complete bull and told him I was not impressed with his attitude. Anyhoo I asked him when he would be back to collect this parcel. He promised me the next morning (this morning in fact). Fair enough I thought. So today arrives I have the parcel ready at the door, I have made sure that the door bell IS working and start waiting patiently (obviously didnt sit by the door!) So 3pm arrives and he still hasnt come to pick it up, I decided to call him again, only to find out that he is not well and cant come out today!!!! I asked him why he didnt show me any courtesy and phone me this morning?? He said he didnt have my name so couldn't, another f up in my opinion (shouldn't all couriers have the names of customers, I know others when they are running late call me to let me know AND they know my name!) He didnt care, so I told him I would phone the company. So I spent the next 15mins trying to find this company's phone number! Finally found it and phoned them, the lassie apologised and asked me for my details so she could see who this "Timi" was as she obviously didnt know them by first names!! She phoned him, then got back to me saying that he "tried today to collect!!!!!!!!" I went nuts!! How dare he lie like that to me and she took his side believing he did try again to deliver.......anyway she said he would be at my home tomorrow. I told her he can f off as I wouldnt have him anywhere near my home! So I asked for a refund and granted they accepted my request.
Please folks do not use this company. Appalling customer service a disgrace to humanity.
