I'd be lying if I said that the cashback offer for buying through Topcashback wasn't the bigger draw, but the guy who followed up from Chitter Chatter was genuinely excellent (David T). Called me within 20 mins of completing the order, was really helpful, talked me through the transfer process to an iPhone from Android, and I had the new phone by noon next day having ordered after lunchtime. Pretty impressed.
The Indesit washer dryer I ordered was discontinued (not Ultimate Appliances fault), but it was on order for a fortnight, while I had no washing machine, before I found out what was happening, despite me chasing repeatedly. I finally cancelled the order on 1st August – as another company was able to deliver the new version I wanted more quickly – but am still waiting for my refund more than 30 days later. Six phone calls since, telling me that the refund was 'in their queue' & several emails from me with no reply. As of 6 Sept 2012 I'm told they're in breach of contract and I've now raised it with my credit card company under Section 75 of the consumer credit act. Luckily I can afford to pay for the replacement machine while they dither - others may not be in that position. They claim that most refunds will be processed in 48 hours... not my experience.
