Ordered a glass fish tank, some gravel and to make up the order to £29, some cat food on 6th Oct. Received confirmation that the order had been received and would be dispatched within 1-3 days. Chased on 16th Oct to be told that the Iams cat food was out of stock although the rest of the order showed as awaiting picking. Long story short - I received the tank and gravel almost a month after I ordered it. The tank was damaged with a plastic pad from the lid broken although the snapped off part was not amongst the packaging so I don't think it can have happened in transit. Couldn't be bothered to pursue it with customer services as it was possible to balance the lid with the clip broken. The customer service was prompt and polite - I just don't think they can deliver the service and goods they appear to offer. You get so used to Amazon levels of service that this is just an example of how not to sell online.
I was so delighted to find such a wide range of sizes as we actually wanted to use the oak work surface as a big desk in an awkwardly shaped study. It looks so stunning that we are now keen to replace the granite in the kitchen! The only problem is finding a project worthy of the sizeable off-cut! When I phoned about the delivery, they were really helpful and phoned in advance so that was nice and straightforward too.
