Animed Direct

Reliable fast service

I would recommend Animed to anyone but their delivery company (APC) is inadequate. Rather than leaving our dogs controlled medication with neighbours, as instructed, they chose to throw it over the fence where both my dogs happily started to chew on. We're it not for the same neighbour seeing them chewing on the bottle and jumping the fence they could have eaten the lot!! APC are THE worst delivery company I have had the misfortune to deal with!!



Read all the reviews and you will have an idea of how poor this company really is. The same issues experienced over and over again with no sign of it getting better. The worst broadband service, the worst telephone service and the worst customer service. I am surprised they are still in business. It's the cheap offers that lure you in but they are cheap for a reason. If you waste your time and money (and believe me you will be on the phone to them more than not - if your phone works that is) by signing up with TalkTalk it won't be long before you are writing the negative review. STAY AWAY!!!!


Would use again

They are competitively priced, happy with the communication and checkout processes. The only issue I have is with their carrier. I'm not massively impressed with APC Overnight but this has no real bearing on World of Power.


Hopeless Homebase

Ordered a loft ladder as the one they had in stock was opened, parts missing, broken,etc and was told 3-4 weeks delivery. 6 weeks later I am still waiting. Three visits to the store and a couple of calls later only to be told 'next Thursday' each time. Thursday comes around and nothing.

They are unable to track orders, have no idea where stock is or when it will be delivered. The HO customer services were initially no better, passed from piller to post through on the phone and they seem incapable of listening. I hate trying to explain something a thousand times over but when someone isn't even listening to you I draw the line.

Eventually got some good help from customer services so 'next Thursday' is when my order is expected. I have a full 9 days to wait with bated breath but don't expect much. I shall not be using Homebase again for anything. There is simply so many other better shops to get the same goods from without this hassle.


Choose someone else to look after your dogs.

They don't tell you about important issues regarding your pets stay and they talk about seemingly behind your back prejudicing future care, together with a frosty reception when picking them up. Our experience cost us a £350 vet bill. They lack the ability to be forthright and open for some reason.
They don't deal well with dogs that have serious greed due to epilepsy medication. I would probably say some in the North East only really want nice and quiet dogs. Anything else and they probably can’t cope.
They seem incapable of contacting you back and you have to constantly chase them. If someone can’t have the decency to return your plethora of calls over the space of a month then that speak volumes to me.
They do not listen despite the information you are providing being very important. One lady claimed we never told her despite being told twice on two separate occasions. The results could be serious.
Their communication skills are non-existent and seem to give no thought to timeframes. As a result unless you have a rigid, far in advance requirement for boarding you’ll have issue with some of them.
They do accommodate the administration of medication well.
Dogs do seem happy when they are picked up.
They did get a good run out with the previous owners of the Stockton branch.
Despite the latter we won’t be using them again as I do not believe they are capable of looking after my dogs.
