I went to CEX Huddersfield to trade in my blackberry 8520 mint condition. I had been able to charge and use this phone with no problems. They "tested" it and refused it saying my "charger port is faulty". I was confused with this result because I had never had any problems. I get back home to find that CEX had rendered my phone un-chargeable by mishandling it at their stores.
I got in contact with the customer care department and a man by the name if "Raj" got back to me. He said, rather dismissively, that it was not them who had damaged it - that I had turned it in damaged. That is the end of it. He said that they could not help me.
DO NOT LET CEX HANDLE YOUR VALUABLES. If they break it, they make it out to be your fault and there is nothing you can do about it accept tell people.
