Ocado

Ocado are Fantastic

I love this company as I always get what I order and on time.
Freshness is very good and everything is delivered in top top condition whether fresh, frozen or non perishable.
I like the way they list everything and pack in a sensible way.

I trust Ocado the best.

Just Eat

Disappointing

They haven't posted my negative written comments about an order despite being posted last weekend. Strange though that my positive comments are there from a couple of days before that.

I have been able to pay for most my orders in cash or payment card BUT sometimes when I have placed an order with a promotional discount I haven't been able to pay the way I had intended and had to either start allover again with another establishment or not bother!

(I'm not the first person to comment on the removal/not publishing of negative written comments on several forums)

My last order took 30 mins to be accepted/email confirmation and an hour later to be delivered. I rang the establishment and they said the order hadn't come through. Strange as the order didn't have the usual Just-Eat print-out either!

Hello Compy,

I would like to apologise for the overall experience you have had with Just Eat. In regards to the review system, when a review is left on the website it shows up once it has been placed. After this it will automatically disappear only leaving the star rating. At this point the review will be approved on our side. It usually takes up to 48 hours for an approval. I will need to look into this to find out why it has taken longer to be approved.

In regards to the late order I would like to look into this for you. On occasions takeaways may provide customers with their own receipt. The takeaway may either keep the Just Eat copy for invoice purposes and therefore send out a billing receipt from their takeaway or they may have received the order over the phone because their may have been an issue with the machine in the takeaway. This could either be due to no paper, incorrect paper or the machine is switched off.

Very

Say one thing and do another

I really wanted to love this company as their glossy website & delivery marketing looked impressive.

But the proof was in the pudding.

My initial order didn't seem to move until I had an unscheduled telephone call from the accounts dept to confirm my order. I was then informed my delivery would be the next day. (I couldn't wait!)

Sadly that was when it went pear shaped, the delivery never turned up even though I waited all day, the tracking was unreliable and customer service were really unhelpful. They even said my order wouldn't turn up on the next working day and it did! (and the tracking was a couple of hours behind)

I wrote a letter of complaint and it was ignored.

I can't trust this company to order from them. (they hide behind their terms and conditions) Their website should say you might get your delivery the next day!
