If you're going to use 123-reg and PayPal be WARNED they store your PayPal details for future transactions and DON'T need your authorisation to take payments - pretty much going against the ethos of PayPal.
Customers need to be aware of this hidden away in their Terms:
Terms and Conditions, Domain Registration Renewal and Refund Agreement, paragraph 3.4 and 3.5 (http://www.123-reg.co.uk/terms/domain-registration-renewal-and-refund-agreement.shtml), where it says that:
3.4 You acknowledge that when using PayPal and by clicking the ‘Agree and Continue' button, You agree and consent to use PayPal for future payments to 123-reg.co.uk (Webfusion Ltd) and that these payments will be made in accordance with the terms of the User Agreement applicable to "pre-approved payments".
3.5 You acknowledge that payment will be taken from the payment method you have last used on the account. This could be the last credit card or debit card used, PayPal or direct debit payment. It is your responsibility if You wish to select or change a different payment source.
So in other words, they can take money when and how they see fit WITHOUT your future authorisation.
This is not how to run a reputable business - needless to say you should avoid, avoid, avoid.

We do set up billing agreements with PayPal in order that customers can have their services automatically renewed, to avoid any down time. Prior to any renewals being carried out we will send all customers a series of emails to inform them of the up coming renewals and provide details on how to cancel.
If you would to discuss any concerns you have regarding the billing for your account please confirm a support ticket ID or domain name and I will be in touch further.
Regards,
Nerys
