Having found a large split in the top of my dining room table that is only 8 months old i contacted OFL and was told as i hadnt waxed it enough warranty was null and void. I had waxed it once in 8 months, was told should be every 3 months. the fault has nothing to do with waxing it is a manufacturing fault, the crack goes right through the top of the table and can be seen from underneath, i have had a french polisher come round and he has told me that it is a manufacturing fault and that no amount of waxing would have made any difference. the table is comng apart where the side meets the end piece and it has exposed the nail inside that should be holding the table together. I have emailed, sent pics and called several times and just get fobbed off with some telesales reading their terms and conditions from a computer screen. I will go to The Furniture Ombudsman, even though it will cost me money. This company have a truly terrible aftersales service. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DONT WANT TO KNOW.
