11 days and 3 emails later, I was still awaiting a return number to exchange two faulty items out of a rather substantial order. I had found this unacceptable until I received a delayed replacement shipment.
The replacements were delayed as the wrong shipping address was put on the box twice but luckily the second address was close enough that the delivery driver found my house.
I did not receive communication from Handles 4 Homes that the replacement was en route (although I was thrilled to receive them) nor did I receive feedback that a returns number was not needed for an exchange of faulty items. This was frustrating and the company graciously ackowledged these oversights.
I am now sending back the faulty items although it is unclear who ultimately pays for postage in this type of situation.
In the end, Handles 4 Homes did the right thing but it was frustrating from my point of view due to the lack of clear communication. However, I have found the hardware to be of top quality and an excellent value after doing much online searching.
