Just about acceptable but could do far better

We received all our items flat packed as expected and within the timeframe given on the website. The salesperson that telephoned was very 'used car salesman' and less than helpful. Despite stating he wouldn't offer a discount nor take American Express as payment as the 'prices were so low already', I instead placed the order via the website using a 10 percent promotion code and paid via PayPal using Amex! Ordering three of each item meant we were on a budget and needed functional rather than exceptional furniture. All the packs are fairly study, illustrated by the fact one had burst open before being delivered. It was all 'wood effect' finish but acceptable in appearance. However the instructions looked like they had been reduced from A3 to A5 and were barely legible. None of the parts are labelled and it took a full day to assemble six items. Of the six packs received, one box had a wrong piece inside but I managed to fashion the wrong piece by use of a drill and plane. The production of the bedside cabinet draws have poor quality control and of the three received not one set close correctly as all the fronts were oversized for the space. They are overpriced for the quality. The wardrobes were of a better finish, but as with all units the fixings are of basic quality. The furniture can be pretty much classed as you get what you pay for (although with a piece missing we didn't even get that). Sales were pretty dreadful and follow up support enquiries regarding delivery dismissive. I would think twice before using them again.
