I bought a Seiko Yachting Timer at Citywatches. Delivery took about three weeks. A bit long but acceptable with the good price in mind. Two weeks after receiving the watch it stopped working, and I agreed to ship it back for repair. It took me nine months and many, many mails back and forth to get it back. After I got the watch back it lasted 4-5 months and then exactly the same problem occurred with the watch where the main hands stopped working while the small dial continued working. I tried to contact Citywatches again by sending about 20 mails and trying to call them about 10 times. I didn´t receive any mail replies and they never answered the phone.
After that I started a case with the European Consumer Organisation, who now have dropped the case after trying to contact Citywatches through about a year. There is just completely silence from Citywatches.
I bought a GT MTB at Evans Cycles, and got it delivered in a timely manner. When I unpacked the bike it turned out that it had scratches on the frame and on seatpost. After assebling the bike, I found out that the front and read brakes each where attached to the wrong brake lever. Then when I wanted to fix this I found out the thread on one of the levers where damaged due to uncorrect assembly by the shop.
With all this things going wrong I contacted the customer service by mail (including photos), who first of all replied very slowly after my second attempt of contact. They wanted me to return the bike to the shop for repair.
I then replied to them that it would be a lot easier if they just shipped me a new break lever + cable and a new seatpost, without scratches, then I could fix it myself. I have re-send this mail a several times without any reply.
I have given up on them, and now fixed the problems by own expence. The scratches I just have to live with. :-(
