The handy guidebook that comes with the London pass was our constant companion as we walked the city's streets. It led us to some gems that we would have otherwise missed, such as the Royal Mews, where we saw all the royal coaches on display. We were able to bypass some lines with our pass and were pleased to find that audioguides were included with most admissions. A couple of times we arrived at a site not long before closing time, but because our admission was already paid, we went in anyway and were able to see the highlights. Our stay in London was spectacular because we were able to see and do a lot in a brief amount of time,
The Paris Pass is the way to go when visiting Paris. Many of the main attractions are covered and we were able to get through some of the lines quicker (at the Louvre, for example). It also introduced us to some lesser known attractions that we wouldn't have known about otherwise. I liked that different options for transportation were included (a tour bus, regular public tranport, a boat ride and the Funicular). The small guide that comes with the pass is a huge bonus. It includes maps and descriptions of all the covered attractions. The only disappointment was that the Eiffel Tower was not included, but even considering that we still got our money's worth by buying the Paris Pass.
