I bought a Diesel watch from watchdepot for Xmas present. Price was competitive with other website, delivery was free. I placed the order on the 11/12 and it arrived by DPD on the 13/12 late afternoon. Packaging was decent, watch coming in its box, no mark or damage. First experience with watchdepot, excellent experience.
I attempted to purchase a Nikon D5000 @ £460 ish from SE on the 12/06.
Bank account has been debited up front. Unit was "in stock", delivery announced 2-3 days.
The week after (5 working days later), no camera and the order was still processing according to the website. I did some researches about SE and found out I was not the first in this situation. The day after, I cancelled my order and asked for refund.
After several polite emails explaining that refund takes 7-10 working days to "initiate", I received on the 02/07 an email showing refund had been initiated and I received my money back on the 06/07.
I have lost my time, missed important shooting time, and day after day, I thought I had lost my money. Frustration was very high and this experience has been the worse I had with online shopping. I don't recommend SE, they are not reliable, advertise stock they don't owe and use horrendous sales conditions (not representative of UK sales law).
My advice: please avoid.

I bought an HTC online with a 12 months contracts. I also added a 250 MB internet download. Total cost £38.
First month I have paid around £40, more expensive but ok, I sent some picture text.
Second month I had a £65 bill! I phoned up Orange to understand what was wrong, and they simply told I did not have the internet download in my contract. I explained that the option had been ticked online when purchased, but nothing to do, they told the only way was to pay the full amount, and the option would be actived the following month.
So I am giving a bad review because of very poor customer service.
Phone is great, network cover is acceptable, call charges are above the average.
I do not recommend orange online. If you wish to go ahead anyway, make sure to phone customer service after receiving the mobile and ensure you have all the options you have subscribed to.
Last thing, purchasing online without setting up a direct debit will cost you an additional £2.85 exc VAT a month. Maybe worth taking into consideration if you are benchmarking different providers.
