"No really, we don't want your 700 euro order :-)"

tried to get a Canon pixmapro 9500 mk2 from Spanish site and bu**er me if it was impossible.
ok, went online found printer even suckered for the "why not add this other sh*t to it function"! and paid................well, when I say "Paid" what I mean is all my card details went through and I even got order confirmation emails but it was just too good to be true. what I hadn't factored in was the "we effin hate people and therefore try and make life difficult for them" factor. apparently, "for MY security" they require me to call them (no of course it isn't a free call!!) to "Validate" the order. (wasn't so fricken difficult to buy things 25 years ago!) not withsatanding the fact that my Bank actually provides "fraud security" apparently they are really concerned about it too and took it upon themselves to be effin policemen too. (odd as i thought they were a SHOP!)

update on farce:So, i ordered nearly 700.00 euro's worth of printer and cartridges online. paid and got confirmation. so far so good. then next day I get email telling me my order had to be "validated" to "protect me from fraud" ;-) this meant calling a number between 9 and 4 which i did, no surprise "electronic p*ss you off machine and non music. this inevitably required a wait in some imaginary queue and a further test of ones stamina, frankly, I have none! my time is just as, if not more valuable than theirs and so a "hang up" ensued. meanwhile by email I have unwittingly entered into another time zone and possibly planet as it seems my communication (in plain language) indicated my desire to "change my address"!!! (which was NEVER mentioned by me! my request to have "them" call me for this so called validation process (where do they make this sh*t up from? I have "protection" from my effin bank ffs) resulted in a blatant lie that they had attempted to call me without success! i know this is a LIE because my phone was by my side permanently. after several pointless exchanges by email I instructed them to cancel my order, which, wait for it: they were able to "Validate" my card for this and then cancel the order!! go figure.............

Pixmania

Crap is not strong enough to describe this company.

Customer service! which in their case is a definate "Oxymoron" there isn't any, well, I suppose if you consider sarcastic smartarse emails to an enquiry, customer service, there is, i don't. if my arsehole was on fire and pixmania were the only company selling arsehole fire extinguishers, i would suffer the arsehole fire rather than attempt communication with them.

Hello
Thank you for taking the time to write this review.
If you are living in the UK you will only be able to purchase from the UK site. If you wish to purchase from the Spanish site you will need to have a valid Spanish address for the delivery and an account with the Spanish site.
Credit card fraud is ever increasing and our validation department strive to bring you the safest, most efficient and reliable service. If you are having problems getting through to them, please send us an email and we will ensure that they will call you.
I would be happy to look into the problems you have had with the validation and payment of this order and give feedback as to why you were not called as advised by the customer care agents.
I invite you to contact me directly on rachel@pixamania.com with your order details so that I may review your file immediately.
Kind regards
Rachel
