Me & my partner are going through problems with these, all seemed great when we 1st moved into aour new house last summer. They set our monthly tariff at £70 a month for gas & elec. We are not really home in a day so thought it was a good price. After around 7 months my partner called to double check the tariff & she was told the price & tariff as as it is so we thought no more until she checked again this year to be told oops sorry we were going to inform you that it`s wrong & it should be £140 a month & we owed over £500 debt short fall. We made 2 payments or £100 to find we still owed them £520. We paid £450 in agreement that they gave us discount. So great the debt was cleared. We were just waiting for british gas to take over when today we got the refusal letter from spark saying there had been a block on our account. After further digging they also said we owed £275 combined use for a month. Canabis farms are been charged less than us. Just a warning to others please please please steer clear of spark energy they are a nightmare. We have now decided to contact watchdog & the ombudsman to have spark investigated.
