A Company Run By Human Beings - Incredible!

After spending five years on ebid as a buyer and seller, I can honestly say it has been a pleasure.
Their customer service is the best I have encountered on the internet, full stop.
A request for help is answered swiftly and with a real sense of purpose. You will not get a stock answer to a question you did not ask, or, even worse, ignored.
The sellers I have encountered have all been responsive and happy to reply to enquires.
Try ebid, ask questions and just have a browse, I am sure you will like it too.

Pathetic, Half Hearted, And amateurish.

I am an online retailler with over ten years experience. Before that I was a director of a freight/courier company in London for an equal amount of time. So I think I have pretty much heard and witnessed all that can happen from both sides of the business.
I thought I would give Parcel Hero a try. After reading all the hype on their site, I ordered a collection for a customer in Singapore. It was supposed to be collected on the following day with UPS. They failed to arrive.
After numberous phone calls to Parcel Hero, I was reliably assured that they would be along on the following day to collect.
The customer service agent assured my wife on the day that she "Would remain in the office until the package was collected."
They never collected and, sure enough the agent went home.
What followed was profoundly pathetic. Parcel Hero decided to imply a whole catalogue of childish excuses rather than take responsibility for their shortfall as a shipping agent. They even went so far as to try and blame me?
I asked for a refund, the squrming and wittering was embarrassing to hear, I had to wait days for the money to be returned and in the end I had to place a claim through paypal.
With good cutomer service they could have turned the situation to their advantage, resolved the issues quickly and they would still have me as a customer.

Quality To Dive For!

I needed some good quality swimming goggles for my family, my first and only choice was swimshop. Swimshop saved me an expensive journey into my local City and the goods arrived within a couple of days.
The goods were first class and I will be back.
