Tried to place an order but the valid voucher code would not work, login details to our account then stopped working. Spoke to various members of staff who were all clueless and could not fix the problem, promised a call back from a Manager, this never came.
Took them 2 days to sort out our account/order, told delivery would be on the following Friday (today), phoned on the Wednesday to confirm, don't worry they said. Phoned today and spoke to Mushfeeqah to confirm again, again told delivery would be anytime up until 9pm!!
Just thought I would phone the courier as it said the order was ready for delivery 2 days ago and low and behold it is not scheduled for delivery today...and would not have been delivered at all if I had not spoken to them.
Apparently although Very blamed the courier for this mistake it was Very who had not confirmed the delivery date correctly with the courier.
Due to the slowness in rectifying our account problem and the mistake with delivery my Son will not be getting his Birthday present tomorrow, thanks Very!!
Spoke to Leslie (CLC0968) at 2.37pm 2/8/13 who is supposedly a Manager, honestly her customer service was appauling, she was literally like a robot and couldn't care less with regards to the bad service received and that my Son was not getting his Birthday present, she had a chance to at least offer something as a gesture of goodwill (which I had to point out) but no she didn't think this was neccessary and said to put my complaint in writing, well Leslie I decided to spend my time reviewing Very instead!
If anyone from Very bothers to look into this please listen to the call above as you will be amazed at how so called Managers treat new customers with a justified complaint.
I can honestly say that out of all the companies I have had bad service from, Very have been by far the worse and as a result I will be closing my account!!!
Ordered 2 products on the 15th June and still waiting for them to arrive, it states Standard Shipping (5 DAYS)!! Tried phoning to speak to them on numerous occasions, no answer!! Left a message, no callback!! The online tracking doesn't work via mobile and to be honest doesn't offer much info when you do get through to it!!
Emailed them and was told "In our website it states 5 days for the shipment not for the preparation and shipment (http://uk.menlook.com/cms-shipping-partners.html)."
Might be an idea to make it clear to your customers that it may take you a few days to prepare the dispatch!! Would like to reply to your email but you have used email@example.com!! Excellent customer service, which is why I will never use your company again.
Lets hope the clothes fit (when they eventually arrive) as this has taken so long to be dispatched that you have now sold out in all the other sizes!
Nothing fits so I now have to send £300 worth of clothes back, just realised you are also not UK based so had to pay £18 to send back to FRANCE!!
Received an email today saying the returned clothes have been received and that my 'refund request will be handled within 14 working days'! 3 WEEKS???? I have returned clothes in the UK that were refunded the same day, what a joke!!
I ordered an acrylic print from their website, now I didn't see the part about the acrylic being only 3mm thick, I just saw the diagrams/images on their site showing nice thick pictures, I don't know what I was expecting but certainly not the thin and flimsy picture I received.
Also I did not see anywhere to add fixings to my order and was expecting something to be included, I literally received a sheet of acrylic, no holes drilled for corner fixings and nothing on the back.
On contacting them I was told that I could now not buy the fixings they offered as they could only be purchased as part of an order for a print, so the only way was for me to purchase another picture where I could then order 2 lots of fixings, granted they offered me a small discount but I would not want another flimsy acrylic print.
My print is currently still in its packaging!!!
It's funny how this company is rated 56 out of 57 on its own website in the category online services, does this tell you something about the way you are operating??
Like others we have also had over 18 genuine reviews removed from our page, no warning, no chance to look into it ourselves, just an email saying they have been deleted.
All reviews are genuine (as far as we are aware) and have a corresponding order number which we could have looked into our end. Getting reviews from customers is hard work and to have them deleted without warning is disgusting, and we pay £70 per month for this too!!!
Given up emailing and phoning now, my so called accounts manager who said they would always be on hand when I signed up with them seems to have vanished, funny that!!
EDIT: I have just received a call today and 14 of my reviews have been re-instated, as a result I have amended my rating of the company accordingly.
Where to even start with their failings…
They need to make the customer blatantly aware that some products can take more than 10 days to be delivered as to be honest I could have just paid £10 extra elsewhere and had them delivered within 3 days. My glasses were delivered today, 16 days after placing my order!!
No contact telephone number!!
Customer service is appalling, out of the 6 emails I sent over a 2 week period only 2 were responded to, days after me sending them. The company is obviously not based in the UK despite the .co.uk domain as emails that are replied to are replied to late at night and not within UK working hours.
The company does not actually stock the sunglasses, they are drop shipped via a 3rd party, again adding to turnaround issues.
Emailed them to change the delivery address as they took so long to deliver I was going to be on holiday, finally received an acknowledgment asking for the new delivery address details which I supplied straightaway, they still shipped to my home address!!!!
My experience has been bad with this company, in my opinion I would rather have paid a few pounds extra and gone elsewhere. Their prices are the only thing keeping them in business as it certainly isn’t their customer service/support.
