Cult Pens
Great store, great stock, no troubles, but expensive int'l shipping
I've purchased from cult pens quite a lot, they have the largest most diverse stock of pens and writing instruments i know online.
They ship fast and everything arrives promptly and safely each time.
The only thing that bums me is the cost of int'l shipping. They have a fixed int'l shipping rate of 10 pounds which is quite expensive unless you're making a large order, or unless you're getting a very expensive instrument.
So if all you need is refills and supplies for the pens you bought last time, or if you just need one or two average pens, forget it.
I usually wait a while until there's enough stuff i need/want to make an order, simply because i don't want to pay 10 pounds shipping for a 15-25 pounds order. Pens and supplies are usually small items, and they fit in small envelopes. Even if you've ordered a dozen pens, it's a light package, so i doubt it really costs so much to ship, and that's a shame, because i'd order much more from them if shipping was more reasonable.

Thank you very much for your 4-star review! Although we're sorry to hear you're unhappy with the international shipping charge. We send all international orders by Royal Mail International Signed For and we have a single shipping charge to cover any size of order - most orders actually cost more to ship than we charge. Very small orders on the other hand, as you've mentioned, may cost slightly less.
Other than the cost of postage itself, though, the shipping charge also helps cover our costs in processing and sending a small order, including the cost of the packaging materials, time spent packing the order, processing and weighing the package, filling in customs forms, etc.
We understand that certain products can be difficult to get hold of and we try to make it as easy as possible for anyone to place an order, no matter whether this is a single refill or boxes of pens. We clearly state our rates for international delivery on our site, these are also shown to you as soon as you select your country in the checkout. We have many happy customers around the world who use our website to purchase products that are otherwise difficult to get find.
